This year represents the Year of the Rabbit. Those born in 2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, and so on (every 12 years) were also born in Years of the Rabbit.
People born in the year of the Rabbit are believed to be vigilant, witty, quick-minded and ingenious. The animal is also said to signify mercy, elegance and beauty.
In Chinese culture, the rabbit symbolizes peace, prosperity and longevity and is one of the luckiest of the 12 animals in the zodiac. The New Year represents washing away the bad luck and bringing in all the good luck.
